Newcastle based The INTA Group owners of leading golf and sports brands such as 4Golf.com, BillGoff.com, Longshotgolf.co.uk and Jackhighbowling.com has ceased trading as of October 22nd, 2009. The company websites were all down on Friday.
According to ABTA, any non-licensable package and non-package claims arising from this failure will be handled by CEGA, ABTA’s claims handling partner CEGA. Any claims for principal business where air travel is included will be handled by the Civil Aviation Authority.
In a further development, the following message has been posted on the 3DGolf.com website home page;
"INTA Ltd has ceased trading as from Thu 22nd Oct
3D Golf plc is a separate company and is alive and well
INTA Ltd does not own 3DGolf plc but as from 1st April 09
it owns the rights to all 3D Golf trade.
The Directors of 3D Golf plc are currently in the process of trying
to return the ownership of the 3D Golf brand to 3DGolf plc.
All client monies are protected by the CAA and ABTA protections schemes."
